Joplin 44 Petro is an awesome place to stop if you’re traveling along I-44. This is much more than just a truck stop—it’s a great travel center with something for everyone. They have a nice food court with lots of choices, a diner, clean bathrooms, and tons of shopping. You can find everything from truck accessories and gear to clothing, custom-made hats and T-shirts. They even have a full-size truck inside the building, which is pretty cool to see. Overall, it’s a clean, well-maintained travel center with plenty of food, shopping, and amenities. Definitely a great place to stretch your legs, grab a bite to eat, and take a break while traveling on I-44. Highly recommend stopping here!

It’s very nice to stop by. It’s a huge collection of many things to look forward to seeing. The restrooms are clean and the place is spacious to eat. There are Mecdonalds and Starbucks. I have never seen like this shop and gas station before. Also, the staff are very friendly and took pictures for me and my kids 😃

The BIGGEST, BEST convenience store/gas station/rest stop ever!! They had a DAIRY QUEEN!! I got a blizzard without having to drive 2 miles into town, off the highway!! They also had a huge collection of squishies which thrilled my granddaughter!! Also, as always, very clean restrooms!!

Started my morning early at the Joplin Petro and had such a great experience. The energy in this place is amazing—super welcoming with a really good vibe all around. The older lady at the chrome shop cashier was awesome, very kind and friendly, and even wished me a good day when I was leaving, which I really appreciated. I also met a guy named Josh who was great to talk with—we had a nice chat about the weather and even shared some childhood memories about a game I just bought. They’ve got everything here, including a McDonald’s, Starbucks whole place just feels lively and comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d stop at again. Thanks for the great experience!

This is probably the second largest truck stop in the world after Iowa 80, and honestly, it’s hard to know where to begin. First, the store is immaculately clean—even the microwaves, which is not always the case at other stops. The store itself feels like a museum, with antiques to admire and artisan artifacts available for purchase. There’s an extensive selection of products for semi-trucks, along with plenty of unique and interesting items for tourists. The food court offers several restaurant options, making it easy to find something for everyone. Overall, this fuel station is absolutely worth the stop and an experience in itself. @memerios1020
